Following the success of Hinterland Hazy, we’re over the moon to introduce the second instalment of our All-Australian Hops Series. Hinterland Big Pale is a full-flavoured, limited edition, and well-balanced Pale Ale lighting up the Southern Cross with Aussie Eclipse and Vic Secret hops. Our Big Pale has a low malt profile, with light tropical notes of mandarin and pineapple, and sits at 5.6% ABV. Almost too good to share – but best enjoyed chilled, in good company.
This limited release is available from Dan Murphy’s nationwide and select BWS stores in NSW and QLD, or from Stone & Wood online, and in our Byron Bay and Brisbane Tasting Rooms.

HOPS
We're showcasing the essence of two iconic Aussie hops - Eclipse and Vic Secret - in crafting a beer that's citrusy, juicy, subtly tropical, with hints of pineapple and mandarin.
MALT
A low malt profile, combining regen pale malt, pale malt, wheat malt and SM40.
FOOD PAIRING
The citrus hops add a lightness to the finish which complements barbecued pork ribs, or harissa chicken cooked over coals, or even summery citrus salad. Alternatively, enjoy Big Pale's versatility as the citrus notes cut through umami dishes like miso-glazed eggplant.
